Alhamdulillah It was an eventful day, when Al-Mustafa Islamic Educational & Cultural Centre celebrated its annual end of the year and award giving ceremony.

This beautiful event took place on Sunday 18th December 2011.

The program started with one of the teachers, Sister Haswah Omar, mentioning the importance of acquiring sacred knowledge and inviting the Founder and Principal of Al-Mustafa IECC Sheikh Dr. Umar Al-Qadri to come on stage and deliver the welcome speech. The Sheikh welcomed the parents and the students and showed the audience a slideshow of the Centre from 2004. This was very inspiring indeed.

The Quran recitation competition then followed where students recited a Surah from the Holy Quran and its translation. The panel of judges that gave marks to each student consisted of Sheikh Al-Qadri, Sister Shahidah and Sister Manaal.

After the Quran recitation the students sang Nasheed and then some students played the drama on Islamic etiquettes.
