On the 8th June 2013 the annual Meraj-un-Nabi was held in Al-Mustafa IECC. At the same time this event marked the Aqeeqah and naming ceremony of Shaykh Umar Al-Qadri’s new born daughter.

Shaykh Umar Al-Qadri made all arrangements of the program personally and had slaughtered a ram for the Aqeeqah of his daughter.

On behalf of Al-Mustafa Islamic Educational & Cultural Centre members we all congratulate our beloved Shaykh on the arrival of his new born baby daughter.

The event started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Dr. Kamran Asghar.

Sidi Abdul Qadri and Brother Umar Farooq congratulated the Shaykh of Al-Mustafa IECC on this beautiful occasion.

Brother Mudaffar from the Islamic Foundation of Ireland (Dublin Mosque) also congratulated the Shaykh.

Students of Al-Mustafa IECC Raqeeb and Alameen sang Nasheed. The Shaykh then thanked all guests for coming and said that he did not want to have a separate event for the Aqeeqah of his daughter as this would not do justice to the love of the Holy Prophet (SAW) which is required by the believers.

The Shaykh announced the name of his daughter Amina Zahra. (We pray Almighty Allah blesses her with a long and healthy life filled with Iman)

The Shaykh then spoke on the importance of loving the Beloved Prophet (SAW) more than ones own children.

The Shaykh spoke then about the message of the Journey of Meraj which is Peace to all Mankind.

The program concluded with Duaa by the Shaykh and Aqeeqah Dinner.
